What a great time we had in St. George- I am so proud of everyone! Woo Hoo! Here is how our cute girls placed……..

Our dance concert is now set in stone…….May 12 at the Riverton Community Center.
We will have class the first week of May, and then just the dance Concert the following week. Only ½ tuition will be due, but all dancers will need to pay a $10. Recital fee, this fee pays for the building rental, programs, and awards.
I honestly can not believe we are to the end of the year. Time flies! Let’s enjoy the next month and get ready for an AWESOME concert!

Oh my goodness! Remember there is no dance the week of competition, so PLEASE remember to try and practice your dance at least once a day before competition- If I gave you a back up cd, remember to bring it to St. GeorgeJ
Please remember to wear your make-up as we have instructed. Last year girls performed without lipstick and I wanted to cry- You need your pretty faces to be seen on stage! (FYI- Glitter is good! Glitter is our friendJ) Claire’s has some great glitter makeup!

Turn left on Bluff Street at Stoplight. Pass through the first stoplight on Riverside drive

DRESS REHEARSAL
Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be moving the dress rehearsal to this Sat.--- March 20. I will be splitting it into 2 different groups-
From 9:30-11 am

If you are doing a solo, duet, or trio…….PRACTICE!!!! I love you guys and think you will all do awesome, but do not expect your dance to be to perfection if the only time you are practicing is during your class. Even in small spaces you can practice! Get to the point that you do not have to THINK what comes next, then you are ready!

Just look under Dixie Spectacular. You will need to be to the Dixie Convention center one hour before your estimated time. Be in the building, in your costume ready to go one hour before you are scheduled to dance. These competitions can run way ahead of time ( and behind) so just please do not be late.
I will have my phone with me, 801-604-0629- Texting me is the best way to get a hold of me.
I will give hair and make up instructions at the dress rehearsal!
I love you guys and am so super proud of you! Now let’s go enjoy some fun in the sun, and dance our tooshies off!

Dancers-
First, please know I have NO CONTROL over the times and changes each competition makes. On the last schedule they said all solos were on Friday, they just sent me an email and they have moved my our solos to Sat. The solos are scheduled (right now) on Sat. between 2pm and 5pm. My 2 teams are scheduled for Sat. between 5pm and 7:30pm. This is an estimated schedule. Ten days before the event they will have a better time estimation.
We will be having a dress rehearsal on Monday March 22 from 5- 8 pm at my house. All competition info will be given out then. All dancers who would like to practice on their own, the studio will be open that Monday March 22 from 3-5pm.

Thank you for getting your costume money in on time. If you have not please make sure you do this week so I can send your costume home with you.
Ok now this is how you will be paying for the St. George Competition. I will be having you pay through the competition website. I will walk you through exactly what you have to do.
Team dance fee is $14. Per dancer
Duet fee is $25. Per dancer
Solo fee is $40.
I have entered all dancers in the standard category because it saves so much money. Let me know if you want me to change into the queen category this week. ( the difference is about twice the cost, but if you win you get a crown)

Scroll down and click on Pay online
Go to 1.Compeition registration fees
Select Competition--DIXIE SPECTACULAR
Select Director-TERA THORNE
Enter amount you need to pay
You will need to pay_________________________
VERY IMPORTANT---Type in your child’s name
Then go to step 2 and fill out your personal information and then it will tell you how to pay.
