Ok seriously, how crazy is life sometimes?
This past Friday (Aug 7) I received a message asking me if I would be interested in taking over all of the dance classes at a private school. I emailed my resume (not thinking much of it) and within 2 minutes of sending my resume I was called in for an interview on Monday. They offered me the position, the freedom to build my own classes and wanted me to start Tuesday. This literally happened in 3 days and I'm still in shock.
I did some serious soul searching, prayer, and after talking with everyone in my family, we all knew it was a great opportunity I couldn't pass up. It is a full time position where I will be teaching dance all day. As much as I would LOVE to physically continue my private lessons and night classes I know that it would be too much.
So, with a heavy heart, I have to discontinue my classes this year. In time I may be able to take on more classes but as of now I know I can't do both.
This will be the first time in 20 years that I have not worked at night and I look forward to seeing what it's like to be home with my family after school.
I want you to know how much I love each and every one of you. If I wasn't so emotional I would call every single one of you. The light and love you have brought into my life will always stay with me. Thank you for picking me as your dance teacher, how lucky I have been to watch you blossom into amazing dancers. Please don't stop dancing, and please keep me posted on your continued dance experiences.
I can promise you that Vizion Dancers are the best in the world.
