Can you believe we are getting to the end of the year??? Crazy how fast time flies. As most of you have noticed I moved the concert ahead a couple of weeks. My baby boy who I just dropped off at the kindergarten bus stop YESTERDAY is graduating from High School this year as well as Oakley and Kelli…. so I wanted to keep May free to prepare myself. I may never be prepared for this. .haha. Another case of TIME FLIES!

Our concert is scheduled at the Riverton Community Center on Tuesday April 24 @6:30pm

Full tuition is due for all classes along with a $10. Recital fee per student. The recital fee covers the building rental, programs, and a prize for the dancers.

March 2012 News

First off, I just wanted to thank you all for your love and support last week after losing my sweet Grandma. Especially thank you to Lexi, Oakley, and Kelli for taking over the dance classes last week. They are amazing girls! I really appreciate all they do!

****Ok next…competition is almost here!

I just got an email of the updated schedule. Like I said, I never know these things in advance, they can change on a dime. All of my dancers will be dancing on Friday March 23, last year they started at 3pm, but this year because of the large amount of entries they are now starting at 12pm- Noon. Ahhh. So those of you leaving on Friday will have to leave early, thanks for being good sports. I wish I had control over times, but I don’t. I will not know a detailed time schedule until the week before when the competition lets me know.

Also, we will not be having class on Thursday March 22 to accommodate those who want to leave on Thursday to St. George, so the Thursday classes will be having a make up class on Wednesday March 21. Same times as regular classes, just on Wednesday.

I will be updating my blog a lot before competition so keep checking it for updates.

I hope you have all paid online for competition, I hope you still can. They will not let any of my dancers perform unless everyone has paid. It is pretty easy to register, if you forgot go to my blog and it walks you through. DO IT FAST because they will not accept payment past a certain time.

On March 20, and 21 I would like the dancers to wear costumes to class. Check the blog for updates on hair and makeup as well.

*There will be no class for competition dancers March 26 through 30.

Let's get ready for some sun shining competition in St. George!

Wow, I cannot believe it is February! Woot woot! I will need to know if you will be going to the St. George competition by Feb. 10. This will allow us enough time to make formation changes. Comp dates are listed below

Each dancer will be paying their competition fees online after Feb. 20, but no later than Feb. 29.

I will have all dances registered online, you will just have to go online and pay for your child. I will give more detailed instructions once I find out everyone who is going.

Costume money will be due the first week of March with tuition.

**Dixie March 23 and 24 at the Dixie Convention Center.

We never know what day we will be competing on, so plan on both days. In the last few years it has been Friday, but as soon as I say that they will say Saturday, I will know the final schedule the week beforeJ

Welcome Back!

Welcome back my sweet dancers! I hope you had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year and now it’s SPRING! Let’s hope this sunny weather lasts, I love it!

January is a full 4 week month so full tuition will be due.

For those of you that are in a team class and you want to sign up for solos we will have sign ups next week.

The cost for a solo is $100, that includes 4 private lessons and your cut music. (This does not include your costume) We will start solos the first week in February.

Remember for those of you on a competition team, our St. George competition is scheduled on March 23 & 24. Please let me know by the first of February if you are NOT attending so we can make formation changes.
